We are Café Ventoux. we are a destination cafe-restaurant in rural Leicestershire. we are located on a national cycle route and have become a popular pit-stop for cyclists. we have even been named Britain's number one cycling cafe, which is an accolade we are extremely proud of!
However, we are not just for cyclists! We’re happy to welcome you whether you’ve arrived on two wheels, four wheels or two feet.
We aim to provide our customers with the very best café/restaurant experience possible. From the beautiful location, to the quality of the food and drink we offer. We like to see our guests smiling, happy and contented. If we can manage that, we’ve done our job. Café Ventoux is run by Ed and his team who all share his passion for quality. OUR TEAM, OUR CULTURE AND OUR STORY
There are certain characteristics that sit at the centre of everything we do. Why do we do what we do? What is the reason? Well, we at Café Ventoux are passionate about ‘the experience’. We want to provide the best possible experience our customers could expect when visiting a café/restaurant.
This manifests itself as soon as you visit Café Ventoux. Firstly, you’ll notice the building is no ordinary café building. Customers sit in a climate controlled space, cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They enjoy views over the beautiful rolling Leicestershire countryside. Our menu is prepared by a chef whose previous role was senior sous chef at a local Michelin guide restaurant. Our speciality coffee is locally roasted and prepared by baristas. Our staff welcome costumers with a smile, always happy to help.
First time at the cafe today, brilliant, great food and drinks, great staff, a welcomed half way stop off on a long ride, will certainly be back again soon!

Absolutely amazing breakfast, every item was perfectly cooked and flavoured so well. The scrambled tofu was so nice, and this is how mushrooms should be on a breakfast 😋 I didn’t leave a crumb 😂 also a choice on plant milks and I saw vegan friendly cakes on offer too, will be back!
