13th August at Cafe Ventoux
Ride with Alicia Bamford, Founder of Female Cycling Clothing Brand Queen of the Mountains
This month Alicia Bamford, Founder of the female cycle clothing brand ‘Queen of the Mountains’ will be leading a Bike & Brunch from Cafe Ventoux – Alicia will be cycling through the stunning, rolling countryside around Rutland and Leicestershire.. on an 80km loop with cake and coffee afterwards at Cafe Ventoux.
There will be at least two speed groups, 13mph (21km) and 15mph (25km) A slower group will be added if needed, so a speed for all. Queen of the mountain ambassadors will lead each group along with Alicia.
Come and meet Alicia and find out all about the stunning Queen of the mountains cycle clothing available through Cafe Ventoux.
Men are of course welcome, however women set the pace.

The LECOL Sponsored Outdoor WattBike Challenges
Every Saturday between 13th August and the 30th September we will be holding the 1K and 6second power test challenges.
There will be a 1K challenge and a 6 second power challenge, the competition is open to the following categories:
Boys (under 15) | Girls (under 15) | Men | Women
The competition is free to enter and you can have as many goes as you wish on as many different Saturday’s as you wish.
Prizes donated by LECOL will be awarded to the winners of each category on the 1st October

The award winning play ‘Ventoux’ by 2magpies Theatre returns to Cafe Ventoux this summer on the penultimate day of the Tour De France
The evening promises to be another great evening with a fully licensed bar running until 11pm. Places are strictly limited and based upon last years sell out, please book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
We would like to thank Funky Tents who will be providing the unique outdoor mobile theatre, and if you have not seen this then its just amazing to see this structure being mechanically raised on the Friday before the event . Toilet Facilities will be provided in the Camping field, showers are available at the cafe, and will incur a £4.00 charge per head.

30th April 2017 – A date for your diary with Dame Sarah Storey and Storey Racing at Café Ventoux
Storey Racing will be racing at the Tour De Yorkshire on the 29th April and the following day at 11am they will be visiting Cafe Ventoux with team captain, Multi gold medal winning Olympian Dame Sarah Storey and her team ‘Storey Racing ‘ . A ride out with the team from Cafe Ventoux will take place at 11.30am on 30th April 2017 for 2 hours. The group will split during the ride to take account of all ability levels.
This will be followed by a 1 hour ‘Social hour’ when you can ask all the questions you have always wanted to ask of a multi sport gold medalist. We will then watch the conclusion of Mens Tour De Yorkshire on the large screen.
