Marketing & Design Graduate
We are currently looking to recruit a Cafe Ventoux Ambassador to undertake the role of Marketing & PR Assistant
To support the Marketing Director in creating, developing and implementing marketing strategies in the four key areas of its business Retail Sales – Events – Fitness Studios and Cafe, however as the role develops other business areas will be brought into the remit of the role.
The role will require the applicants to have good knowledge of WordPress website development along with knowledge and ability to create social media campaigns using various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but not limited to these. Ideally the applicant will be proficient using Indesign software.
As with all new Ambassadors joining Cafe Ventoux all applicants will be trained to make coffee and serve customers, why ? because its important that we all understand the ethos of the business and how all the separate parts of our business comes together to create the brand, and its a nice thing to do.
This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their career to develop a role within a brand which has been recognised as the UK’s top cycle cafe and has aspirations to grow in both its current location and to new geographical locations.
We are looking for a bright individual, if you are a cyclist, then thats great but this is not essential. We are looking for an individual with drive and determination, who is seeking a career with a growing brand, and wishes to have the opportunity to influence the brand.
You will be expected to work what ever hours are necessary to fulfil the role, however the usual hours will be Tuesday – Friday and one day at the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, these can be flexible to meet your personal needs. As an option a Monday to Thursday working pattern with one day at the weekend can be offered.
The role, will command an initial starting salary of circa £18,000 with four weeks holiday plus bank holidays. Staff discount on retail products.

Cafe Front of House Serving Staff – Full time & Part Time
With the development of the current Cafe Ventoux site, we are now seeking to recruit additional Front of House serving and Kitchen washing up support staff.
The role will be to deliver great service at Cafe Ventoux through serving customers with Tea/Coffee, food and drink. You must be professional, but have a good personality and excellent communication skills. The ability to dialogue with customers is key.
There are a number of roles as follows:
- Full Time front of house staff
- Part time front of house staff
- Weekend front of house staff
- Weekend Kitchen washing up support staff
Training will be given to all new staff, however cafe or retail experience is preferred
- Full Time front of house staff (5 days between Tuesday & Sunday) 9.30am – 5pm Tuesday – Fridays 8.15am – 5pm Saturday & Sunday
- Part time front of house positions: 9.30am – 5pm (from one day per week Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday – Friday – Saturday – Sunday)
- Weekend front of house positions: 8.30am – 5pm
- Weekend Kitchen washing up positions: 10am – 3pm

Summer only Gardener March – September
(2 days per week minimum – more days available for the right person if required)
We require a Gardener to maintain the Tugby Orchards site in Tugby and another garden in a village only three miles away. We are looking for a conscientious person, who can work on their own initiative with their own transport. Experience of using Lawn garden tractors – Petrol strimmers – Petrol Hedge cutters and all small tools.
The work involves grass cutting on both sites using a Lawn Tractor and Petrol strimmers. Weeding the various flower beds and maintaining and replacing plants where required. Driving license essential and ability to get to Tugby (LE7 9WE) and Rolleston (LE7 9EN)
We require ideally 8 hours per day and at least 2 days per week
- Ideally working a Friday and any other day)
- or a minimum of 16 hours in total which can be worked over fours days
A good rate of pay dependant on experience.
